How to get the Luxe kitchen look for less
The kitchen can be a difficult area to redo on a budget, but when space and money are limited every little detail counts

The kitchen can be a difficult area to redo on a budget, but when space and money are limited every little detail counts. No matter the size of your wallet, no detail is more important than colour. Colour is a cheap and brilliant way to add a deluxe touch to a basic kitchen. Use dark and rich colours such as red, burgundy and charcoal on either the walls, shelving or furniture to instantly raise a space leagues higher than the rest! 😉

Sometimes you don't have the budget for a kitchen storage unit and open shelving can often tattle tale away its value but, spice it up with a lick of paint and it'll all blend in! Adding wallpaper to the back of cheap cupboards can work to distract away from the price and trick the eyes into thinking they're looking at something more luxurious than they actually are. Another way of adding detail is to hand paint them and don't be shy to use different materials such as wood to really lift things like cupboard handles!

Since luxury in the kitchen is all about being clean and minimal, less is more without being basic. Keep all surfaces clean and shiny, remove all clutter and unneeded fuzz. There's no need to spend money on extra luxuries and fancy features if the shine on your fridge will do the job!
