Christmas can seem forced, everybody's favourite holiday is great and all, but exactly what about that plastic reindeer screams Christmas spirit, Deborah? If you're tired of cheesy and pointless decorations; maybe it's time to look for something more unique or handmade to add a real touch of magic to Christmas. You're in the right place!

Festive Shelving
Yes, we love it! Rip a few limbs of the back of the tree and get to work with the holly and candles. If you want to go a step further and make the shelving, get your hands on some beautiful flat wood and use festive string nailed along the side to create your own Christmas feature. Depending on size, a beautiful hanging shelving unit can work as a great replacement for a tree too. Just grab some pine branches from outside for decoration! -
Candle Jars
Candles are a Christmas staple, but there's not much you can really do with them, right? Wrong. If you've got any spare jars, fill them with Christmas coloured objects such as berries and leaves, pop a candle in and stick the result on the table for Christmas dinner. There're some truly beautiful combos you can make with these, and they couldn't be more personalised!
We're going back to Christmas basics here, there's tonnes of fun ways to use mistletoe around the house. Hanging some up above the sofa is great for a laugh, but behind chairs, on side tables or on walls is a fantastic way to spice up a room visually as well as socially. For best results add one hunk and a dash of luck! 😉
