So, you’ve splashed out on a gorgeous 4-seater with all the flashiest extras you could find; now what? Well, after you've finally had it arrive (those two weeks seemed like a lifetime) it's time to start blending it into your room. The sofa is the statement piece of the living room and you shouldn't be shy to draw attention to and hero it.
Start by choosing the perfect spot to plonk it, preferably where you can see the tv! Then, move around the room and, using the sofa as a reference, make sure everything you place goes well and works to highlight the right things. We're loving using large decorative pieces such as art or clocks smack bang in the middle behind the sofa to draw the eye to that part of the room! Rugs are another great way of drawing attention to your sofa and drawing the room together, a nice big fluffy one right in front so we can engulf our feet in fluff while we sit down is great for unwinding after a long day.
Matching colours around the room is another fantastic way of using your sofa to your design advantage, if you have a dark sofa make sure to use other dark decorations around the room to highlight the colours and take full advantage!
