It's coming to the end of the first month of 2019, Christmas is long gone but cold and dull weather is still doing it's best to bring us down. Whether or not you've dropped your resolutions yet (we don't blame you!) there's a few things that are important to get done this month. - Left over holiday bargains
If you love black friday and November's discount shopping deals, you'll be peak excitement for the entire month of January! Shops often have extra stock they wanted to sell over Christmas that doesn't quite sell out in time, so this is the perfect opportunity to scoop up the bargains (especially for furniture and fabrics) and feel smug for the rest of the year. - Make way for February
Not everybody loves cold winter vibes, at least in February we can pretend it's a cold summer. If you're desperately waiting for spring to appear, now's the time to start cleaning out old furniture and junk. Get ready to redecorate and start again for next month.
If one of your resolutions was to finally get fit but...let's just say there's been more jiggle than wiggle thanks to all those leftover Christmas treats! It's not too late to start working on those muscles now. Going out to the gym can be a motivating factor for some, but it can also be off putting to imagine other people being there, watching, when you've no idea what you're doing. Now is a great time for buying gym equipment for the home, and no, it doesn't have to be expensive. As simple as a cheap dumbbell, or as complicated as a bench to do push-ups on. As long as it gets the job done, there's some great stuff out there that won't exercise your wallet!
