The top 3 most important things to look for in a sofa

So, you’re finally taking the plunge and replacing old Mr. Spring in the corner there, you know your budget and you know your style, but what you don’t know is sofas. Thankfully, and hold onto your hats here, we do! Not only do we know sofas but we know interior design! Here’s the top 3 things you should be keeping in mind when sofa shopping!

  1. Texture
    We could just melt into our favourite fabrics, old Mr. Spring, less so. Time to make up for the lumpiness an old sofa brings and think about which fabric would give you the best snug feeling! Tuck up and watch a bit of telly surrounded by velvet or leather under your fingertips. Bliss!
  2. Size and Shape Vs Price
    We’re loving the Windsor style sofas, practically fit for royalty and at the cost of the price you could get similar styles for they’re deffo worth the praise! When picking the right sized sofa and style for you, think about what you’re going to be using it for and what jobs it will need to do. Then, think about the prices and balance up size, style and cost before you make a decision.
  3. Colour
    You can’t escape colour in anything, in a room, your sofa, your cushions. They don’t have to match, but it’s SO important to think about how they’re going to work together and what you can do make a new sofa more at home.
