We at the interior design team LOVE bold wallpaper. There are so many different styles and colours sometimes it can be tricky to pick just the right shade and pattern to fit just a small area. Let our 5 tips and tricks help you to choose and use the perfect bold wallpaper in just the right way.
Some walls need the extra that texture brings to the table, this can be real texture by using a texturised wallpaper or it can be fake texture by using a wallpaper that just LOOKS like it's textured.
Add life and love to a blank wall, doing an entire room in bold wallpaper can sometimes seem like a bit much on the eyes; but if you only do a small plain section that needed a little love it can add so much to an empty area. Places we love a little bit of bold wallpaper include the side of the stairs, around the fireplace and on the head end of the bed wall.
Add strips of wallpaper to nooks and crannies of the house! Adding strips of bold wallpaper can be a great cheap way to add pattern and value to any wall! We're loving adding strips to the blocks of the door, or the steps of the stairs for a cheap and pretty lift to an otherwise boring section of the room.
One way to cast out the beige and white boringness forever is to fully go for bold wallpaper, paste it all over the shop and work it! Or, if you've gone a little bit too far on the bold bright colours, adding wallpaper can be a great way to soften it up and bring some common sense back to a space that had, honestly, got slightly out of hand!
Add life to a small bathroom by adding bold wallpaper to the wall opposite or beside the mirror, makes for a fun and trippy feel in a room typically without any natural light or reference point for the eyes!
