3 Stunning Storage Solutions for Hallways and Doors

Trying to find space to store stuff in anywhere narrow is a nightmare, you might even be forgiven for giving up! But before you shove your shoes under the bed, give this article a read and you might find out you have more space than you thought!

  1. Use the back of the doors
The internet is full of different storage solutions for making use of the back of a door, so you can go online and get shopping or you can try your hand at making your own! Believe it or not, the tiny crack of space left between your door and wall is great for storing all sorts! Hanging hooks coming off your door hinges are something we love, they save so much space and, when the door’s open, fit snugly against the wall!
  2. Use magnets
No space for shelving? No worries, you can add storage to anywhere along a hallway with just a bit of magic magnets! Depends heavily on what you’re storing here; and yes, it may take a bit of upfront work to get it all done, but should you be finding it difficult to walk down the hallway without getting jabbed in the eye you can just simply pull off whatever’s up there and have the full space back again!
Flat thin wall shelves
Why struggle with big and clunky cupboards when there’s tonnes of different thin shelving ranges out there! Hallway specific storage is great for books, coats and keys. We’re big fans of making our own, using thin strips of wood attached to the walls is not only a great way to stash shoes but looks fun and unique too!
