3 Ways To Get The Best Out Of Your Yellow Walls
Yellow is the colour of summer, and we love it on just about every surface or object we can find

Yellow is the colour of summer, and we love it on just about every surface or object we can find. Bright and friendly, yellow walls somehow manage to make a room feel fun and energetic, yet carefree and relaxing at the same time. Here are 3 ways to make the most out of our favourite colour this summer, and no, we don't mean just adding more!

  1. Be busy
Yellow is a busy colour and that means yellow rooms have a lot more room for bold and striking patterns or designs without going too far. Add a twist to a standard yellow wall by painting white stripes or shapes or, opt for bold statement sofas, such as the Corinthia.
  2. Match those colours well
Black and white are the perfect shades for getting the most out of yellow walls, but they're not the only colours that look amazing. Blue and green, especially milder hues, can be perfect for toning down a yellow wall without taking too much away from the effect.
  3. Don't be shy with the plants
Plants and flowers are a great way to spice up a boring room. And yes, even though your bright yellow wall is probably already spiced up enough, a little bit of extra fun can't hurt! Large green plants work especially well against a bright yellow backdrop, but don't be scared to pick colourful flowers either. You can never have too many sunflowers!
