Shopping for such a big investment can be stressful; there's so many things to remember and it's sooo important to get it just right- because likely you'll be enjoying its company for a few years yet! You don't have to worry about missing anything out however, the interior design experts at sofaclub have got you covered with these 5 sofa quirks to check off, so you don't have to worry on the day!

  1. The first thing you should always consider when buying any furniture, but especially such a big piece like a sofa; is whether or not it matches your style. Search for a sofa that will blend right in with the rest of your house, something that screams you and won't look out of place among all of those inflatable flamingos you insist on keeping.
  2. Picking the right colour is another must when looking for a sofa, do you want a classic and timeless light sofa to brighten the place up a bit or do you want a dark sofa in on trend grey to really go for the Luxe look!
  3. You absolutely must consider softness and texture of material when purchasing a new sofa, fabrics such as leather and velvet give different levels of comfort and not only that, they look vastly different and give off a different air too!
  4. Whether or not your chosen sofa would fit into your room and how, for example if you're planning to put the sofa in a corner you might want to skip doing that weird diagonal have a space behind it thing and just plump for a corner sofa, problem solved and no awkward spaces! Don't forget to leave room for the footstool!
  5. A nice manageable price tag, there's no need to stretch yourself when there's a perfectly good cut price sofa waiting for you on a payment plan!
