There’s several gadgets and add-ons you can buy online and from any large home shop, so have a look at the local range available to you. We love using roll out storage racks or attaching wheels to the feet for easy under bed access, these can also be used on other low profile furniture, such as baskets or boxes. If your bed is low lying consider buying ‘bed risers’- these will not only give you more space but also make it more accessible, and since generally above bed space tend to be empty, you’re not taking up the rest of the room!

If you’re a fashion freak and need to have all the right clothes for all the right seasons, you may find it easier to fit clothes by adding dividers to your wardrobe. Pack away any unnecessary pieces that you’re unlikely to wear, such as seasonal clothing and fold them in boxes to replace again when needed. If it’s hanging space you’re after, there’s lots of DIY hanging solutions that can make or break an overflowing wardrobe. Try attaching a small wooden pole length-ways between your wardrobe and the wall, hold up the ends rather than nailing them in until you’re sure they’re in a good position. Then, you can hang all your clothes up without a worry in the world.
